Following the mullahs’ regime efforts against the PMOI in Albania, and deployment of intelligence and Quds Force agents to this country, the Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) appointed Mostafa Roodaki, a veteran agent of MOIS, as the first secretary of the regime’s embassy in Albania.
Mostafa Roodaki, who was in charge of the intelligence station at the regime’s embassy in Austria in the early 2010’s, returned to Iran in September 2014 and worked at the MOIS central headquarters. He used to work at the third floor in the regime’s embassy in Austria guised as a political expert. At the end of his mission in Vienna, he was promoted to responsible for intelligence stations in all European countries. Since the time he was in Austria, Mostafa Roodaki has been working on the PMOI’s case and was in contact with a number of ex-members of PMOI (now working for the regime). In this regard, he had occasional trips to France.
By paying money, Roodaki uses ex-members to carry out the MOIS conspiracies against the PMOI. Some other MOIS known agents such as Massoud Khodabandeh, Issa Azadeh and Ghorban Ali Hossein Nejad are in contact with him and support his activities.
In coordination with the regime’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to facilitate Roodaki’s activities, the MOIS has made active two MOIS branches by the names of the Habilian Center and the Dideban Institute under the guise of cultural and press agencies in Albania.
It is worth mentioning that in 2016, during the relocation of the PMOI members to Albania, Gholam Hossein Mohammadnia, another veteran agent of MOIS, was appointed as the regime’s ambassador to Albania. Mullah Ahmad Hosseini Alast, the cultural attaché of the regime’s embassy in Albania, is also involved in the regime’s conspiracies in Albania and other Balkan countries. He is the representative of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization affiliated with Khamenei’s office.
